It’s the last day of the hottest August on record in Albuquerque since 1905. Of course, Placitas is a little cooler, but it’s been hot nonetheless. Whew! Tomorrow begins my favorite month of the year which will hopefully herald in cooler temperatures. It’s been a huge relief that the monsoon pattern has finally taken hold and we are getting cooling rains some afternoons and/or evenings. Right now we’ve even got a great breeze blowing which is helping to cool things down. That is one of the many good things about Placitas-our cooling breezes sweeping down the north slope of Sandia Mountain and refreshing the hot air pushing up from the river valley. Hopefully, it will be nice and cool when I meet with my out-of-state Buyers later this month and we can look at Placitas homes in comfort! PlacitasProperty.com
